This statement discloses the privacy policy of Worldwide Inventory Network. Worldwide Inventory Network reserves the right to collect Personal Information from visitors to the domain WINwarehouse.org ("Web Site"). "Personal Information" is any information that allows one person to be identified or contacted by another, including -- but not limited to -- information about or relating to that person's name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A "WINwarehouse Account Holder" is anyone who has created or currently has a My WINwarehouse Profile.
Visitor Consent
By visiting our Web Site, you give Worldwide Inventory Network permission to process your Personal Information according to this Privacy Policy. Personal Information may be processed in the country where it was collected, as well as in countries where privacy laws may be less stringent, including the United States.
General Security
Worldwide Inventory Network takes reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse, and unauthorized alteration of Personal Information under our control. Any Personal Information submitted to the Web Sites is protected during transmission by a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128-bit encrypted certificate from GeoTrust. (One exception: email addresses submitted by users to subscribe to one or more of Worldwide Inventory Network’s newsletters are not protected during transmission.) In addition, Worldwide Inventory Network servers are protected by a firewall. Yet technical mistakes are possible, and Worldwide Inventory Network cannot fully eliminate every security risk associated with gathering Personal Information on our Web Sites. (Please see our Terms of Use for more information.)
Information We Collect
When you access any part of our Web Site, our Web server software automatically logs information provided by your network connection and Web browser software, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your network connection and the type of Web browser and operating system that you are using. Our Web server may also log the URL of the file that you are requesting, the current date and time, and the URL of the last Web page requested by your Web browser.
Worldwide Inventory Network analyzes this aggregated information to learn more about how visitors use our Web Sites, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track visitor movement, and to gather general demographic information for reporting and sponsorship purposes. We do not attempt to match the Personal Information of individual visitors to information logged by our server.
To request merchandise from Worldwide Inventory Network, a visitor must be a WINwarehouse Account Holder with a My WINwarehouse Profile. To create a My WINwarehouse Profile, visitors must submit their name and email address. Worldwide Inventory Network retains My WINwarehouse Profile information to enable Account Holders to retrieve lost passwords, and so that we can contact users about site-related topics in which they have expressed interest, or which we believe may be of interest to them. We also analyze this My WINwarehouse Profile information and use it to guide our business goals and to better serve our audience.
In addition to their name, title, and email address, visitors who request merchandise through WINwarehouse.org ("WINwarehouse not-for-profit partners") are also required to provide Worldwide Inventory Network with their organization's name, type, mission, budget, and contact information. Worldwide Inventory Network retains this information so that we can track requests to completion, facilitate customer-service requests, and inform customers of important changes to our program that may affect them.
When a visitor subscribes to one or more of WINwarehouse.org's newsletters, we ask only for an email address, name, organization name and type which we retain so that we can send the newsletter automatically. We do not retain other Personal Information, except in cases when the visitor has used the same email address to create a My WINwarehouse Profile.
From time to time, Worldwide Inventory Network receives Personal Information about visitors of its Web Sites via offline sources like telephone or fax. We may use this in combination with visitor information collected online in order to improve the services we provide.
Cookies
Worldwide Inventory Network utilizes cookies on our Web Sites to record when visitors have logged in, thus preventing My WINwarehouse Account Holders from having to log in more than once during a single visit. We employ cookies to monitor overall site activity and trends as well.
WINwarehouse.org also uses cookies to retain information on what products Registered My WINwarehouse Visitors have placed in their shopping carts so they need not start from scratch if they are unable to complete an order in one session.
Visitors to our Web Site have the option of disabling or not accepting cookies by changing the preferences in their Web browsers. If visitors opt to disable cookies, they will still be able to access our Web Site. However, they will not be able to use the My WINwarehouse functionality, or request merchandise using WINwarehouse.org.

Worldwide Inventory Network regularly sends email alerts to let visitors know about new donated products to its online catalog. Registered My WINwarehouse Account Holders are automatically signed up to receive these new product announcements, along with print catalogs from Worldwide Inventory Network and notices about special promotions, events, and surveys. We may also email Registered My WINwarehouse Account Holders about services offered by outside partner organizations. These emails will always originate from Worldwide Inventory Network, not from the partner organization.
My WINwarehouse Account Holders may also occasionally receive site and service announcement updates via email. Registered My WINwarehouse Account Holders should not unsubscribe from these announcements, as they contain important information about changes to our services.

If the donor that has provided the merchandise requires the customer's willingness to participate in any such study as a prerequisite for receiving a donation, this will be explicitly stated in the guidelines for that donation program.
